Q: As a writer, how do you keep up with the rapidly changing world of technology?

A: By living in the world I write about. I am constantly exposing myself to the real people and technology, and I push myself to go to the next level personally. For example, I will drive a Lucy car, get further helicopter training, and of late am getting my advanced certification in scuba diving.

 

Q: Is there any new technology on the horizon that has particularly impressed you? Anything that you predict will become mainstream?  

A: I’ll save it for my next book… but suffice it to say, there are advances in weapons that are mind-blowing.
